We have two dyeing classes planned for this summer.
A variety of knitting, crochet, and spinning classes are in the works for this Fall. Check back regularly for details.
Bundle Dyeing Experience
Join Lynda for a natural dyeing experience. You will dye a skein of wool using dried, locally grown plant material.
All supplies and equipment will be provided. You will get 50 grams of mordanted yarn, an assortment of dry dye materials to choose from, and the experience of dyeing your own creative colour combination. At the end of the day, the yarn is yours to keep.
For safety reasons, please wear closed-toed shoes and avoid loose clothing/hair.

Lynda will be leading this workshop, possibly with a helper.
Natural Dyeing Workshop
Join Lynda for a natural dyeing class. You will dye several mini-skeins of wool using locally grown plant material.
All supplies and equipment will be provided. You will get 3 of 4 mini-skeins of pre-mordanted yarn, an assortment of fresh and dried dye materials to choose from, and instruction in how to achieve a variety of colours. At the end of the day, the yarn is yours to keep.
For safety reasons, please wear closed-toed shoes and avoid loose clothing/hair.
