Learn to Knit

Come and learn how to knit. You will make a hat. You will learn basic knitting skills. This is a 4-week course.

Cost: $80

Date & Time: This is a 4-week course, with lessons on Thursday evenings from January 8-29 from 6:30-8:30

Level: Beginner

Instructor: Lynda Driedger

Skills Covered: Casting on, knitting, purling, binding off

Needles and yarn will be provided.

Learn to Knit a Cable

Come and learn how to knit a cabled hat. You will learn how to knit in the round on circular needles and how to cable.

Cost: $85

Date & Time: This is a 2-week course, with lessons on Thursday evenings February 5th & 12th from 6:30-8:30

Level: Intermediate (comfortable with knitting and purling, casting on and binding off)

Instructor: Lynda Driedger

Skills Covered: Knitting in the round, cabling

Needles and yarn will be provided.

Learn to Crochet

Come and learn how to crochet a headband. You will learn basic crochet skills.

Cost: $80

Date & Time: This is a 2-week course, with lessons on Monday afternoons January 12th & 19th from 4:00-6:00

Level: Beginner

Instructor: Sharla Davey

Skills Covered: Chain and single crochet

Hooks and yarn will be provided.

Learn to Crochet a Snowman

Come and learn how to crochet a snowman.

Cost: $80

Date & Time: This is a 2-week course, with lessons on Monday evenings January 12th & 19th from 6:30-8:30

Level: Intermediate (confident with single crochet & crocheting in the round)

Instructor: Sharla Davey

Hooks and yarn will be provided.

Mini-Sock

Join us to make an adorable "mini-sock" and learn transferrable sock knitting skills.

Cost: $80

Date & Time: This is a 2-week course, with lessons Thursday evenings February 19th & 26th from 6:30-8:30

Level: Intermediate (at ease with casting on, knitting in the round and purling)

Instructor: Heather Stone

Skills Covered: Knitting in the round with 4 needles, ribbing, making a heel flap and gusset (including turning the heel), decreasing and finishing the toe.

Needles and yarn will be provided.
